Guidelines for overnight Guests
• Reserve your place to sleep – no overnight stay without a reservation!
• Only visit our hut if you are healthy! We recommend a test before the visit.
• Bring yourself: a thin hut sleeping bag (blankets are available), pillowcase (60x60cm) if there is already a cover for the pillow on the hut sleeping bag, that is enough, disinfectant, towel and (if necessary protective masks)
• Before entering the hut, everyone disinfects their hands.
• We have massively reduced the number of available beds and seats. So we hope that you feel comfortable and safe with us.
• Registration: The leader / mountain guide / parent reports to us at the pass as usual. We will provide the leader / mountain guide / parent with the most important information and show the group where to sleep. He checks that everyone is using their own pillow case and sleeping bag. Missing bedding can also be rented from us.

The Weissmieshütte of the SAC Olten section is located at 2726 m above sea level on a sun terrace above Saas Grund and with its panoramic view of 18 four-thousand-meter peaks it is one of the most beautifully situated mountain huts in the Valais.

It is the starting point for the four-thousanders Weissmies and Lagginhorn, the almost four-thousand-meter Fletschhorn, the sport climbing routes in the Jegihorn south face, the highest fixed rope route in the Alps, the Gsponer Höhenweg as well as numerous ski and snowboard tours.

The hut can easily be reached from the middle station of the Hohsaas cable car in an hour, even for families with children. It is open in summer and in winter.

CONDITIONS
The trail from Kreuzboden to the hut is free of snow and easy to walk on. There is still a lot of snow between the hut and Hohsaas.
Laggin climbing garden has been rebranded and is free of snow.
Routes Maroca and Kusima have already been climbed.
Climbing areas on the Jegihorn are dry, there is still a lot of snow in the upper descent, pimples and possibly crampons are recommended.
Local mountain guides have already traced the problem area on the Weissmies. Ascent with skis is no longer recommended.
