A three-thousand meter in the middle of four-thousanders
Our local mountain par excellence. Not only does it offer many opportunities for ascent but also a magnificent view of the Mischabel group and the ascent routes of Fletschhorn, Laggin and Weissmies.

starting point
As a starting point the Weissmieshütte is perfect, because for the ascent via the trail it is more pleasant, if no climbers encounter the descent. So you have enough time to enjoy the mountain and the view and reached easily the last cable-car in Kreuzboden.
Description
Easy descent from Weissmieshütte on marked way over two metal bridges into Tälli. The path is marked by Wegzeichen and Steinmannli. Then over the small way steep up through the scree field. Directly through the large boulder couloir on the eastern flank you reach the saddle on the left past the southern edge and from here on the west ridge to the summit ridge. From there (short, easy rock passages, well marked) through the S flank to the W ridge and over small snow fields and simple rocks to the summit. Same way back. Magnificent view directly into the ice breaks of the Weissmies north face and the Mischabel group.
Variants
Of course, the trail can only be used as a descent to the via ferrata or a wall climbing.
Recommendation
This mountain is suitable for fite kids as first 3000er or as warming up for a 4000er.
